FreeRice Pounding Festival
Please join us for the annual Rice Pounding Festival presented by the Japan Alaska Association (JAA). This year’s event will be held on Sunday, December 3rd. The event will be held at Asian Alaskan Cultural Center (Northwood Elementary MPR at 4807 Northwood Drive) from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Enjoy many kinds of mochi (rice cakes) and celebrate the coming new year with traditional activities such as Hanetsuki (Japanese Badminton) and pounding rice.
Admission is free and open to the public.
