Fall Family Diner
October 8th, 2011 6-8:30pm **SAVE THE DATE**
It’s almost time for The 16th Annual Family Fall Dinner at Mears. Each year Sand Lake, along with Mears and Dimond High, gather together for an evening of good fun, food, and entertainment. This year our event will be held on Saturday, October 8th between 6-8:30pm at Mears Middle School in the multipurpose room. Mears Middle School is located at 2700 W 100th Ave. Anchorage AK 99515
Kansha Restaurant will be providing the delicious food (YUMMY!!)
The Taiko Drummers will be performing for our entertainment (AWESOME!!)
There will be a Kimono Fashion Show. (BEAUTIFUL!!)
A variety of games will be set up in the Gym for kids to enjoy while parents get a change to mingle and get to know some of the other families in your child’s class at school.
Auction tables will be set up for a silent auction where you may bid on the variety of items collected by our students. Items are then crafted into very nice baskets.
Proceeds from this event (our largest fundraiser of the year) go to the Tomo No Kai, our parent support group which makes hosting our interns from Japan possible along with many other special extras we are able to offer the kids.
